"Hiberfil.sys 옮기기는 불가능"

Q. I would like to move Hiberfil.sys to another partition.

A. You cannot.  Because the Hibernate File must be readable by the bootloader, it must be stored on a specific sector of the hard drive, on the primary system partition.  It cannot be moved.

hyberfil.sys 는 윈도 임시파일입니다. 가상메모리 스왑파일은 다른 파티션에 만들 수 있지만, hyberfil.sys는 최대절전모드를 사용할 때 만들어집니다.

그래서, 최대절전모드에서 윈도가 깨어날 땐 처음에는 컴퓨터 부팅 단계를 거치기 때문에 윈도의 가장 첫 번째 프로그램이 인식할 수 있는 자리, 그러니까 윈도 OS가 깔린 파티션에 들어있어야 한다고 MS가 정해놨단 얘기입니다.
